Achievable New Year’s Resolutions for 2023

Most New Year's Resolutions go by the wayside before Valentine's Day. Here are some of the most achievable new year's resolutions and tips to help carry them out for a better year ahead!

  1. Get fit- The busiest time for gyms is January 1st. But if you're still there by January 30, you'll notice a half empty gym. Most who stick with it, find a plan that is easy to follow. Here are a few mistakes to avoid

  2. Reduce stress- Improving your ability to combat stress is something that everyone should improve on. Stress is unavoidable. Take a chunk out of your day for yourself. Meditate, take your mind off things. Use any of our therapy sacks with a special blend of calming aromas to get your mind right!

  3. Less social media- In today’s day and age, social media is an extremely prominent activity. As someone once said, "Unplug to unwind, tune out to tune in, and disconnect to connect". Don't let opportunities for happiness that are right in front of you pass you by.

  4. Meet new people- Putting yourself out there can lead to mental health benefits and even help your career. Get out of your shell, and go meet some interesting people using these tips

  5. Improve your confidence-This can be a tough one. It is much easier said than done, but people notice confidence and will lead you to more happiness in life. Use different tricks to boost your confidence and live a happy life.

  6. Save some money- It is always extremely tempting to spend your money on some new shoes or a hot outfit, but save it for something special! Saving money for an experience, such as traveling, renovations on a house or a brand new one, or invest it in yourself, to learn a new hobby or get a degree.

  7. Have more energy consistently- Stop relying on coffee and other supplements to get through your day. Get better sleep by reading before bed, and stop using your phone at night. Stay consistent with your sleep schedule and be diligent with it. Eat a hearty breakfast and a glass of cool water to help boost your momentum to take on the day. 

  8. Use your time wisely- Last but not least, spend some quality time with the people who mean the most to you. Life is too short to worry about "likes" or facebook friends you wouldn't recognize in person. Surround yourself with people that you care about and who feel the same about you. 

2022 was a year that everyone wants to forget. Make 2023 better for yourself by controlling what you can. This year is going to be what you make of it!
